Exterior Painting with Covid-19 Safety Protocols

Our Customer and Employee safety has always been our highest priority

Webber Painting has always been a safe company to work for and a safe company to hire. And now, we continue to keep elevated the safety of our employees and customers. Regarding Covis-19, all of the work we do, whether it is interior or exterior, can be completed safely and efficiently and because each job is unique, each job requires a unique safety plan, devised by Webber’s leadership and its crew chiefs.

“Actually, exterior painting can be completed safely and just as effectively as before the coronavirus crisis,” said Lewis Wagner, Director of Operations at Webber Painting. “When you consider it, it does make sense. While interior projects are presumably more difficult during the Covid-19 crisis, the regular process of painting the exterior of a house is compliant with social distancing and other recommended safety measures. I’ve never seen two painters painting the outside of a home close to each other.”

Painters are generally separated while prepping and painting the outside of a home anyway, and typically, there is minimal to zero contact between the Webber teams and the homeowner during this exterior prep and paint work. Webber Painting teams are frequently instructed on proper social distancing measures, and the team members keep a safe distance from each other and from homeowners and their families. In fact, all of the aspects of conducting business, from receiving an estimate to paying your bill, can be performed virtually, through the internet or over the phone.

This time of year is ideal for exterior painting

This time of year, from Spring until late fall, remains the most ideal time to clean, repair, and paint the exterior of your home. And Webber Painting has instituted safety protocols for its entire workforce, which are beyond those recommended by the CDC. These measures include the following—

  • using disposable masks and gloves for all of its employees who are currently working at homeowner job sites and who are working at the warehouse shop.

  • complying with social distancing measures in the warehouse workplace

  • complying with social distancing measures on the job site

  • complying with social distancing measures and other safety measures during commutes to the job sites

  • using disinfect soap and hand sanitizer to further reduce risk, and

  • in some cases, installing portable bathrooms at the job site

So, if you were considering having your home painted during the warmer seasons this year, please reach out to us to receive an estimate and to ask any questions about how Webber Painting can complete your painting project while keeping you safe.
